You are allowed to dispute any item on your report at any time. When you send a credit dispute letter to any of the credit bureaus, they must investigate and resolve your dispute within 30 days.
Credit dispute letters can be a sent either by mail or online. Online seems more convenient but using certified mail is the always the better option and people seem to have more success using a mail in dispute.
